U can do all this and more at UCLA Health's Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital. In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for our Older Adult Psych patients. The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination of the nursing unit. The position is a combination of clinical (direct care) and administrative responsibilities.

Salary range: $59.67 - $138.60 Hourly

Qualifications

We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:

Current California RN license, required

Bachelors or Masters Degree, Required *If the Baccalaureate degree is not in Nursing, Master's in Nursing is required*

Previous Geri/Psych or relevant Psych experience, required

2 years of acute care or management experience, required

BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, required

Experience working in a magnet hospital, highly desired

Knowledge to manage disaster incidents, sentinel events and ability to problem solve with Critical Thinking Skills, required

Ability to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate, required

Ability to inform and educate, required
