    Responsibilities

    + Develop and execute a strategic plan to establish and grow the geophysical department.

    + Identify and pursue new business opportunities within energy, environmental, and infrastructure sectors.

    + Build strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and industry partners to drive business expansion.

    + Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.

    + Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and pricing strategies for geophysical projects.

    + Collaborate with marketing and executive leadership to position the company as a leader in geophysical services.

    + Oversee the planning, execution, and interpretation of geophysical surveys using seismic, gravity, magnetic, electrical, and electromagnetic methods.

    + Guide the selection, deployment, and maintenance of cutting-edge geophysical equipment and software.

    + Provide technical leadership for geophysical investigations related to natural resource exploration, environmental assessments, and infrastructure development.

    + Ensure quality control in data acquisition, processing, and interpretation.

    + Lead research and innovation efforts to incorporate advanced geophysical techniques and emerging technologies.

    + Build and manage a high-performing geophysical team, providing mentorship and technical guidance.

    + Coordinate field operations and supervise technical personnel to ensure safe and efficient project execution.

    + Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for geophysical data collection, analysis, and reporting.

    + Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation effectively.

    + Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field.

    + 7+ years of experience in geophysical investigations, with a focus on business development or client management.

    + Strong knowledge of geophysical survey techniques, data acquisition, and interpretation.

    + Proven track record of securing and managing geophysical projects.

    + Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

    + Experience with geophysical software and data processing tools.

    + Willingness to travel for client meetings, field projects, and industry events
