We are an academic home health agency, providing care in the community for 30 years. We serve Central Virginia, including Charlottesville, Albemarle, Augusta, Rockingham, Harrisonburg, Staunton, Waynesboro, Nelson, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Louisa, Orange, Madison, Greene and Culpeper. The Home Care Registered Nurse is an experienced nurse who provides hands on care to medically complex patients with a wide variety of diagnosis. Our interdisciplinary care teams work together to provide exceptional care to patients. The Registered Nurse serves as the leader of the health care team establishing a relationship with the patient and their caregivers, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health. Position Compensation Range: $82,992.00 - $110,240.00 Annual
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.
Experience: 1 year of Relevant Experience
Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia required. Valid Virginia Driver’s License required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job may require sitting for prolonged periods, frequently standing, traveling, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
