    Reporting to the **Director of Operations,** the **Quality Control Manager,** is responsible for developing and implementing testing, sampling, and inspection procedures for raw materials, equipment, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with product specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. This role involves investigating and resolving issues related to product functionality and performance, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions when necessary. Additionally, the Quality Control Manager may oversee and perform on-site calibration of equipment and tools to maintain accuracy and reliability in quality assessments. This role will be **onsite** and will be located in **Elk Grove Village, Illinois.**

    In this role, a typical day will look like:

    + **Quality Management (ISO9001):** Manage and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS), lead audits (internal and external), ensure team training, and align documentation and processes with customer expectations.

    + **Quality Metrics & Operations:** Track product quality, support root cause analysis, collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product design and standard work, and reduce defects.

    + **Team Leadership & Training:** Supervise technicians, provide training to embed a quality mindset across teams, and ensure alignment with operational and customer goals.

    + **Collaboration & Safety:** Work cross-functionally to resolve issues, improve processes, and maintain flow. Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage.

    + **Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement:** Identify and resolve testing issues, and actively engage in Kaizen and ongoing improvement initiatives.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

    + Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field.

    + 3+ years in a Quality role; leadership experience preferred.

    + Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and quality management systems.

    + Proven track record in driving quality metrics and cross-functional collaboration.

    + Familiarity with quality testing, tools, and measuring instruments.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or errors.

    + Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving during production.

    + Ability to interpret technical documents and operating procedures.

    + Effective organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.

    + Basic math skills for quality-related calculations.

    The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

     

    The compensation range for this role is $110000 - $120000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
