Job Summary:
The Sales Training Manager is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing sales training programs that drive performance and prepare new and existing sales associates for success. This role partners closely with business leaders to assess current and future sales training needs, implements standardized training practices, and fosters a culture of continuous learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Deliver engaging training for new sales hires in both classroom and field environments, using a combination of company developed and locally tailored programs.
+ Track individual trainee performance and provide coaching and feedback to support development.
+ Design and implement new sales management training programs to support leadership readiness and career growth.
+ Ensure consistent training practices across the organization by maintaining accurate training documentation, materials, and resource libraries.
+ Regularly evaluate and update training content to improve engagement, retention, and alignment with evolving business needs.
+ Coordinate closely with cross functional departments to ensure new hires are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary for success.
+ Facilitate and/or conduct required and recommended training sessions for sales associates at all levels.
+ Supplement national training materials with market specific content, tools, and reporting processes.
+ Stay informed of industry trends and emerging training techniques to enhance learning strategies.
+ Plan, schedule, and manage training calendars and events to ensure effective delivery.
+ Collaborate with external vendors and third-party providers to support specialized or advanced training initiatives.
+ Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to build internal facilitation capabilities where applicable.
+ Contribute as a collaborative team member and perform additional duties as required to support company goals.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
in Communications/related, or equivalent experience
3 - 5 Years
Training experience, including 1 year of people management experience. Must be comfortable in dynamic environment which may include ambiguity and frequent changes. Project management. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization. Ability to moderate large groups and lead initiatives with minimal guidance. Developing and facilitating sales training programs; street sales and sales management experience in foodservice distribution, or restaurant industry experience.
