Description

We are hiring a Director of Banquets! FT $80,000

Responsibilities:

+ Know how to, understand, and direct Group Sales.

+ Solicit business, i.e. conventions, sports groups, reunions, etc.

+ Train Sales, Account, and Event Managers on their job responsibilities.

+ Develop sales strategies for group market segments.

+ Develop departmental budget to support group sales revenue.

+ Forecast potential group business for the hotel.

+ Know how to, understand, and direct Reservation Sales to.

+ Set room rates and restrictions to achieve sales, also with input from the General Manager.

+ Establish budgeted transient sales goals for the fiscal year (with input from the General Manager)

+ Solicit and oversee catering sales efforts of banquet space.

+ Train Catering/Sales Managers on their job responsibilities.

+ Develop catering/sales strategies.
