• Remote Sr. Salesforce Developer (SAP Integrations)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a seasoned Senior Salesforce Developer to spearhead the design, development, and deployment of tailored solutions within the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in system integrations, especially with ERP systems like SAP. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce development, integration patterns, and best practices to ensure seamless connectivity across our business applications.

     

    This is a fully remote role, operating on PST hours (9am-6pm), with an initial contract duration of 6 months and potential for extension. Key responsibilities below but not limited to:

     

    • Salesforce Development: Design and develop scalable, high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other relevant technologies.

    • System Integration: Lead the integration of Salesforce with external systems, including Intercom, SAP, Snowflake, AWS among others, using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi), and other integration technologies.

    • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

    • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, project managers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

    • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of Salesforce applications and integrations, ensuring reliability and scalability.

     

    Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, integration processes, and system configurations.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred

    • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on system integrations

    • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs

    • Strong experience with integration tools and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi)

    • Familiarity with SAP integration methodologies and tools

    • Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git, VsCode, GitKraken, Copado, Gearset)

    • Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications · Experience with SAP modules and understanding of SAP data structures.

    • Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python) is a plus.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
