    Humana Healthy Horizons is seeking a Senior Product Manager who will develop, deliver, and manage products for customer use. The Senior Product Manager work assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations, processes or population health data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

     

    The Senior Product Manager leads all phases of the product life cycle, from scoping to implementation and monitoring in the market, by developing products to meet specific population health needs and achieve specific cost and clinical success outcomes. Once products are launched, the Senior Product Manager monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to ensure products are meeting business needs across Medicaid, evolving products over time to ensure product evaluation and consistent decision making are documented in effort of achieving the desired outcomes. They begin to influence the department’s strategy in product and makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components with minimal direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives, product milestones and approaches to assignments.

     

    + Apply internal processes and enforce project standards – define project plan and milestone mapping: initiating, planning, implementing, and completing the project. Project Standards can include but not limited to Intake, Charter, RACI Model/Roles and Responsibilities, Governance Structure, Project Plan, Risk/Issues Tracking, etc.

    + Analyzes product roadmap to ensure project updates, status and process are followed in accordance with department guidelines.

    + Interfaces with internal, external partners to ensure the successful design, evaluation, and implementation of all projects.

    + Prepares presentations and communication materials on behalf of the project team including executive-level communications.

    + Partners with operational, clinical and process team colleagues to drive process improvement and identify/apply best practices.

    + Coordinates and plan meetings including the development of meeting agendas, document and distribute meeting minutes, maintaining action items/issues log, update smaller scale project plans and any other documentation as needed to support business partners.

    + Monitors and reports on project progress and milestones, works closely with business partners to ensure the project remains on track and delivers successfully.

    + Manages project and program interdependencies and potential roadblocks, establishes clear resolution paths, and escalates situations as necessary.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree or a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

    + Five (5) or more years of supporting or developing and managing product strategy, including planning, execution, and launch of healthcare or related products and services.

    + Three (3) or more years of combined professional experience in Medicare and Medicaid, with at least two (2) of those years spent working in Medicaid.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Project/or a similar software.

    + Experience managing medium to large scale projects in a highly regulated and fast-paced environment.

    + Proficiency in communicating effectively with project stakeholders up to and including senior level leadership.

    + Ability to manage stakeholders and hold them accountable for deliverables.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and navigate competing priorities.

    + Ability to facilitate meetings with multiple participants of varying levels capturing relevant information.

    + Comfortable working on new projects with limited knowledge/expertise of the content and be able to learn quickly to effectively manage the implementation.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Knowledge and/or experience within the VMO, IT team, Procurement processes.

    + PMP Certification.

    + Lean or Six Sigma certification.

    Additional information

    + **Workstyle:** This is a remote position with minimal travel.

    + **Travel:** Up to 10% to onsite and team engagement meetings possibly outside your state of residence.

    + **Typical Workdays and Hours:** Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Central Standard Time (CST).

     

    Work at Home Criteria

    To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:

    + At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

    + Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

    + Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

    + Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

    + Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

    Interview Format

    Pay Range

    The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

    $104,000 - $143,000 per year

    This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
