We are looking for a Safety Technician who will monitor and supervise work safety activities, seeking to ensure conditions that eliminate or reduce, to a minimum, the risks of incidents/accidents and occupational diseases, meeting and complying with regulatory standards/NRs and relevant legislation.
**Job Title:** Safety Technician
**Location:** Marston, MO
**Pay:** $29/hr
**Shifts:** Mon-Fri and hours are open to candidate. 9am to 6pm start time
What’s the Job?
+ Incident/accident investigation
+ Carry out safety audits/inspections aiming the reduction of potential hazards
+ Evaluates personal protective equipment
+ Inspects potentially hazardous equipment or facilities
+ 2nd level of contact with plant leadership for consulting
+ Risk identification
+ Deliver safety training programs
+ Support Policies Development and implement safety programs
+ Maintain records and documentation of all safety paperwork (Assessments, Audits, Investigations, Training, etc.)
+ To organize First Aid/CPR training
+ Work with supervisors and managers on safety procedures and concerns
+ Help Safety KPIs monthly report preparation
What’s Needed?
+ High School or equivalent
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience as Safety Technician.
+ OSHA compliance, injury/accident investigation (good record keeping)
+ Good communication skills (to inform and train employees on various safety topics)
