    Job Description

    Immediate Short-Term Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Maintains client information in complete confidence.

    • Regular attendance required, working at the assigned worksite, or assigned remote location during regular business hours and/or assigned hours.

    • Decision making skills to include the ability to make sound, accurate and timely decisions.

    • Ensure work premises constitutes a safe work environment that promotes positive bank image, including regular inspection for and remediation of any hazardous conditions; regular maintenance and cleaning of premises; adherence to all posting requirements in jurisdiction, including human resources and compliance postings; and provision of comfortable and appropriate space for associates to conduct banking business.

    • Knowledge of credit card policies and procedures as well as State and Federal regulations applicable to credit cards.

    • Possess a strong knowledge of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

    • Must possess the interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, vendors and fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner always.

    • Understands, embodies, communicates, and instills corporate initiatives and vision, including the six Pillars of Success.

    • Answers incoming calls and responds to written communications.

    • Research and investigate customer complaints to resolve concerns when possible.

    • Research Bankruptcy notifications, subpoena requests, and various other legal requests; maintenance accounts as necessary.

    • Research Credit Card GL/DDA outages.

    • Completes other specified duties as assigned.

    Additional Mid-Term Duties:

    • Maintain and edit various internal logs for use within the department to ensure accuracy for further use in other projects.

    • Familiar with FCRA.

    • Proactively identifies current and future opportunities and risks.

    • Input new Business card account on system, perform maintenance as requested, assist customers with basic inquiries, and address other internal inquiries regarding customer status.

    • Reviewing Fraud alerts from Fidelity Information Services.

    Added Full-Time Employment (if applicable) Requirements and Duties:

    • Serves as a support role for resolving settlement outages for the Accounting Department. Perform research and corrections, as needed.

    • Review and verify vendor completeness and compliance for completed Billing disputes and Fraud cases.

    • Complete and process write off and close out packages from FIS to ensure entries and credits are accurate.

    • Complete monthly charge-offs on FIS system and Excel worksheet, submit memos.

    • Write procedures and processes for new or revised tasks.

    • Assists Credit Card specialists with cross training opportunities and serve as an elevated resource for the team.

    • Participate in the creation of specifications for parameter settings and guidelines. (Submit requests to vendor and perform QA before rollout).

    • Serves as point of contact for Business account customers.

    • Input new internal bank issued corporate accounts on system, perform maintenance as requested, assist users with basic inquiries, and address other internal inquiries regarding card status.

    • Create various ad hoc/specific reports based on requests from management.

    • Facilitate recurring scheduled projects to ensure completion, follow-up, and future scheduling (including, but not limited to; collateral review, bankruptcy review, privacy policy issuance; CFPB reporting, CRA reporting, VISA ICS transmittals, VISA registration validation, etc.)

    Skills and Requirements

     

    High School Diploma required.

     

    3+ years of experience in banking required.

     

    Banking experience, exposure to bank lending, credit cards, etc. general exposure to compliance sides

     

    Proficiency with MS Office Suite software, expectation of intermediate working knowledge.

     

    Mail merge in word

     

    Possess good organizational skills.

     

    Must work well in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

     

    Must be able to work independently and demonstrate strong initiative.

     

    Possess a substantial knowledge of guidelines, procedures and regulatory requirements for credit cards.

     

    Must possess the interpersonal skills to communicate with customers, vendors and fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner always. College degree related to Business, Economics, etc. preferred

     

    Experience in consumer lending operations, preferred.

     

    Experience in either credit or debit card support or management, preferred. null
