Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse receiving and quality inspection, with a strong understanding of international regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Receiving & Quality Inspection:

Oversee the receiving process, ensuring all incoming shipments are accurately documented and inspected for quality.

Conduct thorough inspections in compliance with IATA (International Air Transport Association) standards.

Ensure all received goods meet ITCO (International Tank Container Organization) guidelines.

Regulatory Compliance:

Maintain compliance with ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) for all relevant shipments.

Manage AES (Automated Export System) filings to ensure accurate and timely reporting of export data.

Handle and document Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments in accordance with international regulations.

Logistics Coordination:

Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations.

Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize warehouse operations and reduce costs.

Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues that arise during transit.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including receiving, inspections, and shipments.

Prepare and submit regular reports on logistics performance and compliance.

Skills and Requirements

Active/ Interim Secret Clearance Proven experience in warehouse receiving and quality inspection.

In-depth knowledge of IATA, ITCO, ITAR, AES filing, and DG regulations.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in logistics software and tools.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. null
