Our client, a leader in protective products, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of the quality control department supporting the development and testing of essential safety equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a keen attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Laboratory Technician

**Location:** Monroe, NC

**Pay Range:** $18 to $25 per hour

Duration: 12 month contract

What's the Job?

+ Perform physical and mechanical tests on fire-fighting equipment.

+ Compile, analyze, interpret, and document testing results.

+ Work collaboratively in a self-directed team environment.

+ Follow established procedures and methods accurately.

+ Utilize computer skills for data management and reporting.

What's Needed?

+ Associate degree with 1+ years of experience or 3 years of laboratory experience with a High School Diploma.

+ Good mechanical aptitude and skills.

+ Experience in a lab or technical environment is preferred.

+ Proficiency in MS Excel and time management.

+ Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing 40-45 pounds.
