Our client, a leader in the equipment rental industry, is seeking an Equipment Associate to join their team. As an Equipment Associate, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting the operations and customer service efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus, effective communication skills, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Equipment Associate

**Location:** Indianapolis, IN

Pay Range: $19

Shift: 1st (Monday - Friday)

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

What's the Job?

+ Assemble, load and unload equipment, assist with deliveries and prepare equipment for rental

+ Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order

+ ​​​​​​​Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy

+ ​​​​​​​Power wash equipment outside (regardless of weather) and make minor adjustments to ready the equipment for the next customer

Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ ​​​​​​​Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds

+ Experience operating medium to large forklifts preferred

+ Knowledge of trench safety equipment is an advantage but not required

+ Some knowledge of computers and phone apps

+ Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills

+ Diligent attention to safety

+ Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

+ PPE and work boots are provided by the company

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma and valid driver's license required.

+ Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.

+ 0-3 years of experience in a related field.

+ Strong teamwork skills and ability to multi-task.

+ **Steel-toed shoes are required for safety.**
