We are seeking a detail-oriented **Senior Accountant** to join our Sponsored Projects Finance (SPF) team. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely financial management of sponsored research projects, particularly those funded by federal agencies. The ideal candidate will possess advanced accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of federal financial compliance.

**Pay Range:** $50-55/HR W2
What's the Job?
+ **Cash Management & Reconciliation:**
+ Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for the posting of Letter of Credit (LOC) cash receipts to appropriate sponsored projects.
+ Reconcile LOC payments with accounts receivable balances.
+ Coordinate LOC activity with SPF team members to ensure timely and accurate posting of cash receipts.
+ **Financial Reporting:**
+ Prepare and submit quarterly Federal Cash Transaction Reports (FCTRs) in compliance with federal agency requirements.
+ Reconcile internal financial systems with data provided by federal sponsors.
+ Identify and propose necessary adjustments to the University’s accounting system to ensure data integrity.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
+ Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience with federal financial compliance.
