Our client, a leading player in the creative industry, is seeking a Senior Art Director - Packaging to join their team. As a Senior Art Director, you will be part of a dynamic creative team supporting innovative packaging solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong conceptual thinking, excellent project management skills, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Senior Art Director - Packaging
**Location:** St. Louis, MO (Onsite Monday-Thursday, WFH Friday)
What's the Job?
+ Design and execute traditional and digital communications in relation to package design efforts.
+ Exercise quality control of design recommendations and executions.
+ Operate with a degree of autonomy by receiving project assignments, completing on time, understanding direction and applying feedback.
+ Collaborate effectively with Account Managers and Strategy team partners, fellow creatives, internal and external teams, clients, and vendor partners.
+ Credibly represent and present your own work while positively influencing decisions for the benefit of the creative work and the brands.
What's Needed?
+ Bachelor's degree with a design emphasis preferred or equivalent work experience.
+ 3 to 5+ years of experience working as an Art Director or similar creative role at an advertising or in-house agency.
+ Strong Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills for both digital and print design.
+ Strong understanding of designing for traditional and digital channels, including social, ecommerce, digital display advertising, and retailer digital advertising.
+ Strong typography skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects successfully.
