    About the Role:

    We are seeking a **Skilled Construction Technician** to join our dynamic team in residential and modular home construction. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and passionate about building high-quality homes from the ground up.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Use hand, power, and air tools safely and effectively

    + Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams

    + Perform accurate measurements using a standard tape measure

    + Apply basic math skills (including fractions) for precise construction

    + Install insulation, sheathing (black board or OSB), exterior doors, and windows

    + Construct and install dormers, deck roofs, and hang siding

    + Install shutters, fascia, soffit, felt paper, drip edge, shingles, and ridge vents

    + Prepare homes for transport by installing protective plastic

    + Ensure all work meets DAPIA-approved prints and quality standards

    Additional Duties:

    + Assist maintenance team with equipment repairs as assigned

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area

    + Support other production areas as needed, with similar physical requirements
