Job Description
Works with other application analysts and Periop/Anesthesia operational
stakeholders to collect requirements for all OR/Anesthesia workflows.
Ensures the Epic OpTime/Anesthesia team completes OpTime/Anesthesia
design and build for all OR/Anesthesia workflows and services in the 48X
building.
Performs workflow, including charge testing, and partners with
operational stakeholders in identifying and implementing training plans,
as needed.
Partners with other IT and technical teams, such as Departmental Systems
Group, Systems Integration, and Clinical Engineering (aka Biomed) to
ensure device integration, supply chain, and similar workflows are
successfully designed and implemented.
Facilitates meetings and produces necessary agendas and minutes for
effective technical implementations, as well as user adoption.
Partners with Periop/Anesthesia operations to identify and implement the key performance indicators
needed to measure successful outcomes.
Escalates, in partnership with IT leadership, to program governance when needing support to resolve
escalations.
Performs application build activities throughout the software development lifecycle to implement Epic
application build updates necessary to meet customer requirements.
Provides weekly status reports to project leadership on the status of various assignments and
escalations.

Skills and Requirements
All candidates must already be certified in OpTime and/or Anesthesia modules.
3 years of build OptTime/Anesthesia build experience.
5 years of experience as an analyst implementing Epic applications
Ability to communicate clinical concepts to technical team and complex system design concepts to end
users.
Strong knowledge In Perioperative/Surgery services, hospital, and ambulatory clinical workflows.
Responsible for analyzing user needs and developing solutions while adhering to best practice,
organizational and regulatory standards. null
