    Job Description

    The Vice President of Marine Sales, Americas Region will be responsible for driving client's marine sales strategy and execution across North, Central, and South America (excluding Canada). This individual will lead a team focused on developing relationships with shipbuilders, ship operators, naval architects, and ship owners, while also influencing specifications and winning large-scale marine projects. The successful candidate will bring technical fluency, strong leadership, and a track record of sales growth in marine equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Lead the marine sales team in the Americas, setting strategy and performance goals aligned with client's global marine objectives.

     

    -Develop strong relationships with shipyards, commercial fleet operators, naval architects, ship owners, and maritime engineering firms.

     

    -Guide the team to win project specifications and influence procurement with technical insights and value-based selling.

     

    -Identify and prioritize regional growth opportunities in the commercial marine segment.

     

    -Support the team in responding to RFQs, managing complex bids, and negotiating contracts.

     

    -Partner with client's product and engineering teams to adapt solutions to regional customer needs and regulatory standards.

     

    -Manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and regional performance reporting.

     

    -Represent client at major marine trade events and conferences throughout the Americas.

     

    -Monitor regional market trends and provide strategic input to senior management.

    Compensation:

    $190k to $200k per year annual salary. [If client has provided an exact salary, then no need to use a range; also, if the client has provided an hourly rate, then use same hourly language from the Contract/Contract-to-Hire section above.]

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -Bachelors degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Business or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.

     

    -At least 10 years of sales and leadership experience in the marine equipment, shipbuilding, or maritime technology sector.

     

    -Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

     

    -Proven track record in leading sales teams and growing revenue with complex, engineered systems.

     

    -Deep understanding of the marine project sales cycle and procurement dynamics.

     

    -Strong relationships with key decision-makers in the marine industry across the Americas.

     

    -Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

     

    -Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the Americas.

     

    -Location in Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred. -Experience working in a sales environment in LATAM null
