    + **Department:** Wellness Preventative Care

    + **Schedule:** Monday-Thursday 6:30am-4pm, Friday 7am-11am (No nights, weekends or major holidays)

    + **Hospital:** Ascension Medical Group, clinic

    + **Location:** 515 E. Main St. Carmel, IN

     

    We are seeking a Wellness Movement Coach who is passionate about helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

     

    Specific responsibilities will include one-on-one and small group meetings with participants to learn and discuss their fitness goals, assess their bodily strengths and weaknesses, and curate a customized ODC class curriculum for each participant. The Personal Movement Coach will provide assessment and guidance to facilitate and monitor participants' progress at regularly scheduled intervals

    Responsibilities

    + Develop customized fitness programs tailored to individual client needs and goals.

    + Conduct initial assessments to evaluate clients' fitness levels and establish baseline measurements.

    + Instruct clients on proper exercise techniques, body mechanics, and safety protocols to prevent injuries.

    + Monitor client progress through regular evaluations and adjust training programs as necessary.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients as well as the interdisciplinary team

    Qualifications:

    + Certification in personal training or strength and conditioning coach through ACSM, NSCA, ACE, NASM, CSCS, or other nationally recognized organization

    + Certification in CPR/AED/First Aid

    + Relevant Fitness Training/Coaching experience

    Responsibilities

    Provide comprehensive instruction on human performance as it relate to all aspects of strength and conditioning.

     

    + Develop and design plans to improve athletic performance, developing speed, strength, power and endurance in accordance with sport.

    + Implement strength and conditioning programs in consideration of sports performance curriculum.

    + Provide compliant strength and conditioning education and information to athletes, coaches and clients.

    + Coordinate communication with athlete, agents, sport coaches, athletic trainers, healthcare providers, and others to promote a team approach to athlete strength and conditioning development.

    Requirements

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

    + BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

    + Exercise Physiologist credentialed from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred.

    Education:

    + High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
