    AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of Full-timeWarehouse Supervisor at our Culinary Support Center in Akron, OH. This position will work day-shift Monday - Friday with on-call as needed.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Oversee supervision of the warehouse team and effective operation of packing, shipping, receiving and inventory

    + Support the Branch Manager in safe, efficient and economic running of the Warehouse

    + Oversee and participate in the preparation of items for shipping, receiving, storing and inventory

    + Oversee and participate in incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments, which includes lifting and carrying materials

    + Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures

    + Review shipping discrepancies as needed and work to rectify problems with relevant team members

    + Conduct Inventory counts

    + Order warehouse supplies when needed

    + Develop and maintain an effective department, assist in the selection, training, motivation and review of team members

    + Perform other related duties as assigned

    Job Requirements:

    + Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working in a warehouse or in a shipping/receiving role

    + Previous experience in vending/foodservice is preferred

    + Light maintenance experience preferred

    + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

    + Outgoing, personable, and ability to communicate with all levels of a company

    + Ability to multi-task

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    + Good driving record

    + Professional appearance
