Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant
This position plays a critical role in supporting data management efforts for general ledger (GL) data within the Credit Risk Intelligence & Transformation (CRIT) data platforms. As a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant, you will contribute to ensuring data quality, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of GL data for credit risk analysis. This role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and collaboration across business, risk, and technology partners to drive improvements in credit risk data management.
In this role, you will:
+ Support business analysis and modeling activities related to General Ledger (GL) data used in credit risk.
+ Collaborate with technology teams to assist in ensuring accurate and timely delivery of GL data to end users.
+ Perform detailed analysis on data quality, lineage, reconciliation issues, and regulatory requirements under guidance from more senior team members.
+ Assist with the documentation of GL data flows, metadata, and controls that support risk reporting and compliance.
+ Contribute to ongoing projects focused on enhancing the accuracy and reliability of GL data across platforms.
+ Participate in issue tracking and support the resolution of data quality or reconciliation issues as they arise.
+ Partner with cross-functional teams to implement changes or enhancements to GL data processes and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
+ 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 2+ years of SQL or SAS programming experience or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Familiarity with general ledger systems and tools (e.g., Essbase, IRIS/Web, FYI, DRM).
+ Working knowledge of Line of Business structures, Chart of Accounts, and GL-to-regulatory mapping processes.
+ Exposure to source-to-GL reconciliation workflows and associated challenges.
+ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data issues and propose actionable solutions.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Team-oriented mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships across functions and levels.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
