    About this role:

    Wells Fargo is seeking a leader to manage team of professionals that deliver advisory solutions and sound data and analytics to Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking and respective operational teams for traditional trade and open account product solutions and structures. You will engage in frequent and proactive interactions with clients, bankers and operational teams and perform portfolio and day-to-day operational risk management activities.

    In this role, you will:

    + Manage and develop two or more specialized teams of managers and professional individual contributors with focus on delivering moderate to high complexity and risk product or service for cross-functional stakeholders or internal partners associated with the function or affected by its outcome

    + Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development

    + Develop product education and sales management strategies to continually develop teams to anticipate and understand clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions

    + Lead team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet higher risk deliverables; interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for functions with moderate to higher complexity and risk

    + Organize sales activities for multiple products or specialties and develop marketing strategies in partnership with coverage team leadership, ensuring proactive selling and presentation of tailored financial solutions to clients and profitable growth of the specialty products

    + Provide subject matter expertise to peers and leaders, as well as work on complex, strategic, and multi-product specialty transactions, including by providing oversight of opportunity analysis, structuring, and internal coordination of financing requests

    + Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership

    + Partner with product management functional partners to provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise on evolving market needs that enable large-scale companywide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operations

    + Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure financial and business goals are met and align with strategic objectives for multiple products or specialties

    + Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

    Required Qualifications:

    + 8+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    + 4+ years of management or leadership experience

    Desired Qualifications:

    + 6+ years of international traditional trade product experience

    + Experience in leading remote work teams and balancing deliverables in a matrix environment

    + 3+ years of experience in leading or collaborating with product focused operations teams

    + Proven and demonstrated leadership skills including relationship building, partnering and collaboration skills with clear ability to influence, gain buy-in and negotiate with a diverse group of key business partners/stakeholders including senior management.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior management and ability to articulate key messages around risk, issues, customer impacts, etc.

    Job Expectations:

    + May be required to work outside of tradition business hours to support global needs

    + This position offers a hybrid work schedule

    + Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening.
