+ Cleaning, maintaining, and stocking the anesthesia workroom and equipment in all operating rooms and satellite anesthetizing locations.

+ Assisting the anesthesia provider in the safe and efficient care of patients receiving anesthesia

+ Providing specialized equipment to assist anesthesia staff when appropriate

+ Preparing anesthesia machines and carts for use the following day

+ Assembling and preparing intravenous (IV) solutions for the anesthesia provider

+ Working with perioperative team to ensure prompt OR turnover

+ Assisting with difficult airway management by providing equipment needs such as video laryngoscope and fiberoptic intubation cart

+ Preparing age appropriate anesthesia equipment, monitors, and airway support

To qualify, you must have:

+ A High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D.

+ 1-2 years of work experience in an acute care setting

+ The analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine.

+ The ability to exchange information on factual matters, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. This type of interaction requires courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors, and/or hospital employees

+ The ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external constituencies
