Using a broad understanding of the department’s fundraising philosophy, they employ a number of administrative, organization and communication skills in helping to support fundraising activities at the Trust.
This Development Assistant, Technical & Gift Services will:
+ Provide general office support, which includes heavy scheduling and maintenance of meeting calendars for department leadership; scheduling appointments and meetings both in-person and via Zoom.
+ Perform system updates, user testing and maintenance of our Blackbaud CRM system.
+ Maintain constituent information in donor database including biographical information, Trust codes, solicitor actions and proposal information.
+ Help to manage vendor relations and negotiations for the department
+ Prepare invoices, including payment of requisitions for vendors, employee reimbursements and serves as contact to resolve discrepancies. May reconcile monthly bills with overall budget.
+ Assist supervisor with projects and preparation of reports and documents, as needed.
To qualify, you must have:
+ Minimum of an Associate’s Degree and 4 years of related work experience required.
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred and would replace the experience requirement.
+ Volunteer or fundraising experience is a plus.
+ Critical thinking skills/ability to communicate professionally.
+ Demonstrates critical thinking skills.
+ Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
+ Ability to manage time effectively.
+ Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (WORD, Excel, PowerPoint).
