    Job Description​

    Saint Luke's South Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse to join their team on the** **Surgical Care Unit!

     

    + Full Time Nights - 6:45 pm to 7:15 am

    + Infection & isolation free unit

    + Post surgical care unit for elective joint, spine, and bariatric surgeries and joint commission certified

    + Average length of patient stay is 1-2 days

    + Additional support provided to nursing staff by an Orthopedic and Bariatric Surgical Coordination Team

    + Patient wellness and independence promoted with on the unit therapies

     

    Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures

    Job Requirements

    Applicable Experience:

    1 year

     

    Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

     

    Associate Degree
