FBA organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. Our ideal candidate is someone who is always learning and improving as the business grows and the relevant technologies continue to evolve. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver on data architecture projects and implementation of next generation BI solutions.
•Manage AWS resources including EC2, RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda etc.
• Build and deliver high quality data architecture and pipelines to support business analyst, data scientists, and customer reporting needs.
• Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources.
• Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience providing technical leadership on high-impact cross-fucntional technical project
- Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
- Experience mentoring team members on best practices
- Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
- Experience operating large data warehouses
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
