Prime Video Finance is seeking a Principal Finance Manager to lead the Prime Video International Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, and to provide strategic support for the Prime Video International business. This team supports senior leadership on planning, analysis, and reporting covering 18+ countries and plays a role in driving business decisions which directly impact headcount / OpEx.
This role plays a key part which includes operating plan cycles, quarterly guidance cycles, topline, OpEx and developing best practices for FP&A which have impact across the business. This role works closely with the WW Prime Video FP&A and Prime Video International PVI business and finance teams. The ideal candidate is adaptable and capable of exercising high judgment, insists on the highest standards, and possesses the ability to work well with cross-functional teams across Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
• Serve as the key finance partner working directly with PV International leadership as well as liaising with PV regional finance and business teams. You must have the ability to set direction, hold others accountable to tight deadlines, and present to senior executives.
• Own all planning cycles (in year, annual, long range) for the PVI business, running an effective process. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and balance the business needs between technical and process constraints
• Ownership of key performance review mechanisms including the MBR and QBR from a finance perspective.
• Analyzing business growth and profitability performance of the International business, working with regional finance stakeholders to deep dive variances, surface areas of risk and opportunity, and communicate results and insights to L10+ leadership
• Lead a small team of 2 to deliver high quality insights to inform decision making
• Be a thought leader to improve and simplify processes, drive standardization, and build scalable systems to support business growth
Basic Qualifications
- 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
- Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
