The Amazon Cobranded Credit Cards team is responsible for developing the platform and applications used to introduce new and innovative payment methods to customers as well as support Amazon’s global CoBrand and Private label credit cards along with the world’s largest rewards catalog, Shop with Points. We are an agile team, moving quickly in collaboration with our business to bring new features to millions of Amazon customers while having fun and filing new inventions along the way. an experienced Front End Engineer who loves hands-on work, to help us build scalable front-end customer experience features. Our projects focus on enabling customers to apply for, and use various payment methods while taking advantage of financial offers and incentives that increase customer engagement and delight. If you ever applied for or used an Amazon-branded credit card or store card, paid for Amazon purchases with hotel or credit-card points or chose to pay in installments - you were our customer and we strive to make such engagements delightful for you.
We're looking for someone with unparalleled knowledge in current web development technologies who can thrive in a heterogeneous environment of different languages and technologies. You will work closely with some of the smartest people in the industry to deliver positive customer experience. The systems are complex and there are huge opportunities to work at all levels from the front end user experience, to a set of robust platform services.
The ideal candidate is an experienced hands-on software developer that thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves building software, is self-directed, knows how to get things done, and is not afraid to take on big challenges. Key job responsibilities
* Actively participate in overall product strategy and UX design.
* Be involved in every aspect of the UI for new features – from idea generation, exploring different design options, and technical design through software development using the latest technologies and design patterns.
* Collaborate with Software Development Engineers, Product Managers, UX Designers to ensure the best experience for our customers.
* Design and build highly functional and lovable UI. The software must be well tested and high quality.
* The UI must be compliant with accessibility standards set at Amazon.

Our team's mission is to develop the most customer centric cobrand credit card in the world. We innovate on behalf of our customers by partnering with business, financial partners and internal teams in Amazon.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 2+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
