Description
Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a talented, creative, and self-motivated publicity professional to join the Amazon MGM Studios Series PR team as a Publicity Coordinator. This individual is responsible for supporting the execution of publicity campaigns for Amazon Original Series and must be highly organized. You will work closely with senior members of the team to navigate cross-functional initiatives and dive into the details of various internal and external requests. Solid written, verbal, and organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to collaborate and be an effective team player in a fast-paced environment.
This individual will be based in Culver City and report to the Publicity Principal, while supporting the broader Series PR team including Studios and MGM+.
Key job responsibilities
• Support the senior PR team on series campaigns, including creating talent itineraries, booking glam, coordinating travel, managing screener access, and compiling coverage reports.
• Coordinate logistics for talent appearances globally, when applicable.
• Support the execution of in-person and virtual junkets and premiere events.
• Help track and maintain series budgets and campaign success metrics.
• Assist in developing written publicity materials as needed.
• Keep current on trends, issues and news about both the business and consumer worlds of television and entertainment in general.
• Create new vendors and purchase orders; PO Troubleshooting.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ year of publicity experience gained in the TV or Movies industry assisting at an agency, studio or network
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in television publicity; specifically at a streaming service, studio, network or agency
- Deep knowledge of the entertainment industry
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills and attention to detail
- A passion for pop-culture and entertainment
- Willingness to work hard and get the job done, even when at times it is outside the scope of the role
- Extremely detail-oriented with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Willingness/availability to travel and work extended hours, including weekends when necessary

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $110,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
