Description
Seeking talented Security Engineering Manager to lead a team in building infrastructure security processes and tools for operational technology including robotics, automation, and embedded devices and remove security risks through formal, deep dive assessment activities and implementing controls. You’ll manage security engineers and technical program managers to develop innovative security solutions at a massive scale. Your team will get to build and influence security controls and decisions that proactively protect every Fulfillment Technology Robotics customer, both internally and externally, from security threats – not many teams can say that! You will lead compliance related discussions both internally, with stakeholders and customers, and externally, representing Infrastructure holistically in audit/regulatory exams. You will partner with technical teams in resolving security issues and concerns and providing contextualization as well to how compliance with various standards and frameworks is achieved.
Candidates are expected to have a track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-moving environment. We need someone who’s comfortable building teams, developing talent, delivering results, and leading by example. The team's services operate at a large scale and on critical workloads, so good security judgement and a passion and discipline for operational excellence are key.
Key job responsibilities
- Build and lead a team of security engineers focused on security reviews and automation
- Establish robust processes for application security reviews, including Generative AI solutions
- Lead sessions that identify and address critical security risks
- Partner with business units and stakeholders to resolve security issues, prevent recurrence, and reduce the friction for builders to develop secure services.
- Partner with business units and stakeholders to implement security paved paths simplifying secure development practices
- Develop metrics demonstrating team impact and identifying improvement areas
- Foster a team culture of continuous learning and security excellence
- Communicate security strategies effectively to technical and business stakeholders

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of engineering team management experience
- 5+ years of working knowledge and understanding of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and infrastructure security
- 1+ years of endpoint detection engineering experience
- Experience managing and building teams that develop, maintain, and scale production software
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Experience building scalable, high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fulfillment technology products and services
- Experience implementing security solutions at the business division level or equivalent
- Experience leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate and scale security, with a strong understanding of associated security risks and mitigation strategies
