Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Project Management Manager 2** . This position will be located in **Roy, Utah** and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
+ Will oversee the staffing of the functional home rooms. Those would be all the FHRs outside of Engineering and Production Operations. The responsibilities will be:
+ Ensuring the BOSS requisition flow is according to the VSM process with good visibility for the hiring managers
+ Coordinating interviews with the Recruiting team and the assignment managers
+ Supports the metric reporting (will rely on the Engr Staffing Team for standard metrics)
+ Manage the Resource Project Managers
+ The position will report directly to the PjM FHR but dotted line to the Engineering Staffing lead for daily direction and support.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of related experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
+ At least 1 year of experience in leading project or cross-functional teams.
+ Experience in DoD programs.
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance with an investigation completed within the last 6 years, current and within scope.
+ Must have an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
+ Proven demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Functional homeroom leadership experience
+ Acts as a leader and understands that erroneous decisions on their part will result in probable delay and failure of organizational objectives.
+ Demonstrated Project Management experience.
+ PMP Certification
+ Previous experience on EMD projects.
+ Experience with Inter Continental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM).
+ Demonstrated experience using SAP, Windows software packages, Atlassian Tool Suite, and other electronic databases.
+ Agile Development
+ Capable of working with minimal direction, independently determines and develops technical objectives of assignments, and presents work upon completion for high level review.
+ Ability to provide and implement solutions to advanced problems which require ingenuity and innovation.
Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
