Position Overview: Chief Financial Officer
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this highly visible role will oversee multiple operational functions, including finance, human resources, facilities, and administration. As a strategic partner to the senior leadership team and the Board of Directors, the CFO will drive initiatives that ensure the organization’s long-term financial health and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee and manage all aspects of finance, operations, facilities, and human resources.
+ Prepare, review, and present accurate and timely financial statements, reporting packages, budgets, and forecasts to leadership and the Board of Directors.
+ Lead fund accounting and provide grant reporting for state, federal, and private funding sources.
+ Develop and implement long-term financial planning strategies, including cash management, budgeting, and forecasting.
+ Drive successful execution of external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
+ Foster operational improvement across organizational functions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures while managing risk and safeguarding assets.

Requirements
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred.
+ Proven experience as a CFO within a non-profit healthcare organization is required.
+ Minimum of 15+ years of progressive finance and operational experience, including 7+ years in a leadership role.
+ Extensive knowledge of fund accounting, grant reporting (state and federal), financial modeling, and long-range planning.
+ Demonstrated ability to present complex financial data to senior leadership and boards.
+ Hands-on experience managing audits, financial reporting, and operational budgets for non-profit organizations.
+ Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
