Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient processing of invoices and payments. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Match and batch invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Code and post transactions into accounting systems with precision.

• Oversee the entire invoice process, including verification and approval workflows.

• Conduct thorough research and resolve discrepancies or payment issues.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth communication.

• Reconcile accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records.

• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and address overdue payments promptly.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

• Familiarity with matching, batching, and coding processes.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation and financial reporting.

• Ability to manage vendor relationships professionally and effectively.

• Experience processing payable invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
