    Senior Accountant

     

    Our client in the King of Prussia, PA area is looking for a Senior Accountant for a contract role. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of corporate accounting experience in a medium or large company environment, with some exposure to FP& A being a plus. A strong understanding of ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables) are required.

     

    Responsibilities of Senior Accountant

     

    + Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

    + Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

    + Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls.

    + Work closely with FP& A teams to support budgeting and forecasting.

    + Utilize ERP systems (Oracle preferred) for financial reporting and reconciliation.

    + Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management.

    + Develop and maintain Excel-based reports using advanced formulas and pivot tables.

    + Collaborate with auditors and support the audit process.

    Requirements

    Skills/Qualifications of Senior Accountant

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    + 5+ years of corporate accounting experience in medium or large companies.

    + Experience in financial reporting, with a background in public accounting or a mix of public/private being a plus.

    + Exposure to FP& A is a plus.

    + Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

    + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables).

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial analysis.

    + Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
