    Key Responsibilities:

    Accounts Payable Management:

    + Process high-volume vendor invoices promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with purchase orders and company policies (Source: US Demand for Skilled Talent Q1 2025.pdf).

    + Prepare check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers on a routine basis to ensure timely vendor payments.

    + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

    Vendor Relations & Compliance:

    + Build strong relationships with vendors and respond promptly to payment inquiries and disputes.

    + Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including tax documentation (e.g., W-9s).

    + Ensure adherence to company policies regarding spending limits, approval workflows, and documentation.

    Reporting & Analysis:

    + Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation for audits.

    + Assist in month-end closing by preparing accounts payable accruals and reports.

    + Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and recommend system improvements.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    Education & Experience:

    + Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

    + Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

    Skills & Competencies:

    + Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, cost allocation, and financial controls (Source: US Demand for Skilled Talent Q1 2025.pdf).

    + Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

    + Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and internal collaborations.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing processes.

    + Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and cost-efficiency tracking.

    + Knowledge of tax compliance related to vendor payments, including sales tax and Form 1099 preparation.
