Description We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator IV to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining complex IT systems, ensuring their reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to design, implement, and support critical infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain both physical and virtual IT systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

• Oversee system backups, recovery processes, and storage management to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Monitor and analyze system performance logs to identify and resolve anomalies or technical issues.

• Implement critical patches and updates to maintain system security and compliance with industry standards, including HIPAA regulations.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to design and implement network and storage solutions.

• Develop and enforce best practices for system infrastructure and configuration management.

• Lead large-scale projects that span multiple technical disciplines, ensuring deliverables are met on time.

• Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development.

• Leverage advanced monitoring tools to track system health and generate KPI reports.

• Troubleshoot complex technical problems and propose innovative solutions to enhance system functionality. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6-10 years of experience.

• Proven expertise in system administration, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of storage technologies, such as SAN (Storage Area Network), and backup solutions.

• Experience with configuration management tools and implementing IT infrastructure best practices.

• Familiarity with HIPAA-regulated environments and maintaining compliance with security standards.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.

• Proficiency in managing network design, performance tuning, and resolving complex technical issues.
