Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This position plays a key role in managing financial operations, including payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Oversee accounts payable functions, including invoice review and payment processing.

• Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as tracking payments and resolving discrepancies.

• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate general ledger records.

• Reconcile financial statements and accounts to ensure data integrity.

• Collaborate with team members to support month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Generate reports and provide financial insights to assist in decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.

Requirements • Proven experience in payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.

• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Syteline and Paycor.

• Strong knowledge of journal entries and general ledger maintenance.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

• Strong communication skills for working collaboratively within a team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
