Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Miami, Florida. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a vital role in managing client accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and driving timely collections. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial health of the organization while honing your accounting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Generate and review monthly accounts receivable reports to monitor outstanding balances and ensure timely collections.

• Communicate effectively with clients to address overdue payments and resolve billing discrepancies.

• Process and apply incoming payments accurately while maintaining updated account records.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to facilitate seamless month-end closing processes.

• Organize and maintain detailed records of invoices, receipts, and payment documentation to ensure audit readiness.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and accounting software to track aging reports and analyze cash flow trends.

• Reconcile accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.

• Support commercial collections efforts by establishing strong client relationships and following up on payments. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related field.

• Strong skills in account reconciliation and cash applications.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.

• Excellent communication skills for resolving client billing issues.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage financial records.

• Ability to analyze data and identify trends in cash flow and collections.

• Experience in commercial collections is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.
