Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Attorney to join our growing team in San Mateo, California. In this role, you will be addressing legal issues related to family law, including the management of motions, depositions, and case analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent legal research and writing skills, and a passion for advocating for clients in family law matters. This position offers the chance to work in a hybrid environment, providing some flexibility with remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse range of family law cases, including high-conflict custody disputes

• Execute motions and depositions with precision and efficiency

• Conduct comprehensive case analysis to provide the most effective legal advice

• Implement legal procedures and protocols accurately

• Use case management software and Adobe Acrobat for efficient document management

• Participate in civil litigation and claim administration as required

• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a detail-oriented manner

• Apply your experience with discovery, discovery requests, and discovery responses

• Use your skills in briefing and conveyancing to deliver high-quality service

• Undertake tasks related to consumer electronics as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of Family Law

• Expertise in Document Management

• Ability to handle briefing tasks efficiently

• Experience with local civil procedure and processes is preferred

• Experience in handling complaints professionally

• Experience with Discovery Requests and Responses is crucial

• Must have a deep understanding of Family Law practices and procedures
