Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial health and strategic direction of our organization in Santa Clara, California. This role is pivotal in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, improving profitability, and providing insightful advice to the executive team. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record in financial management and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's short- and long-term goals.
• Oversee the preparation and delivery of financial statements, tax filings, and other regulatory documents.
• Lead cash flow management, job-level profitability analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, licensing requirements, and governmental regulations.
• Evaluate and enhance financial systems, processes, and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to ownership and executive leadership.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable, backlog reviews, and contract updates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, vendors, insurers, and external advisors.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and recommend adjustments to optimize outcomes.
• Foster a positive, data-driven workplace culture aligned with organizational objectives. Requirements
• CPA certification is required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial leadership and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, auditing, and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements and leading budgeting processes.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and financial best practices.
