    We are looking for a dedicated Tax Staff member to join a dynamic team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.     Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and manage business tax filings, specializing in small and mid-sized business clients.

    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering year-round financial advice and support.

    • Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings and meet evolving client needs.

    • Provide expert guidance on tax regulations and financial strategies to help clients achieve their goals.

    • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax-related tasks.

    • Support business development initiatives, including networking and generating referrals.

    • Utilize tax software systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

    • Conduct reviews of individual, federal, and multi-state tax filings to ensure compliance.

    • Oversee in reconciling accounts, including balance sheets and bank statements.

    • Deliver exceptional client service by understanding their unique financial challenges and needs.

     

    Requirements • EA (Enrolled Agent) certification or equivalent qualification is required.

     

    • At least 4 years of experience in business tax filings, with a focus on small and mid-sized businesses.

    • Proficiency in accounting software systems such as QuickBooks or Drake Tax Software.

    • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach to relationship management.

    • Familiarity with federal and multi-state tax regulations and reporting requirements.

    • Experience in business development and generating growth opportunities is preferred.

    • Ability to manage account reconciliations, including balance sheets and bank statements.

    • Proven track record of delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.
