Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead and oversee accounting operations for our team in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy of financial records, supervise accounting staff, and contribute to financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger maintenance and month-end closing processes.

• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Coordinate and lead efforts to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.

• Provide guidance and training to accounting staff to ensure their growth and adherence to company policies.

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.

• Assist in the development and implementation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

• Monitor and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts to support overall financial health of the organization. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in accounting operations, with a strong understanding of general ledger processes.

• Prior supervisory or leadership experience within an accounting team.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and collaborate effectively.

• Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, such as GAAP.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
