Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Arlington, Texas. This is a Contract to permanent opportunity for an individual who excels in managing financial records and is eager to contribute to both bookkeeping and tax-related tasks. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in QuickBooks and demonstrate a willingness to expand their skills in tax preparation.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.

• Manage month-end close processes and generate financial reports as needed.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online and Desktop to handle bookkeeping tasks efficiently.

• Support tax preparation activities, including data entry and preliminary reviews of returns.

• Handle data entry tasks to ensure timely and accurate updates to financial records.

• Assist in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

• Provide support for audits or additional financial reviews as required.

• Stay updated on best practices in bookkeeping and tax-related procedures. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping with a strong understanding of financial principles.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop platforms.

• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

• Strong skills in bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures.

• Competency in Microsoft Excel and other computerized bookkeeping systems.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and data entry skills.

• Ability to learn and support tax preparation tasks, though prior experience in tax returns is not mandatory.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
