Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant to join our team in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will oversee comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and a passion for financial management to continue to grow and develop their accounting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Utilize accounting software systems.

• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Conduct detailed cash flow analysis and provide actionable insights for financial planning.

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

• Generate and review financial reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Support month-end and year-end close processes, maintaining strict deadlines.

• Collaborate with team members and management to improve accounting processes and efficiency.

• Maintain compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.

• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience with accounting software systems, including Excel.

• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and practices.

• Experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
