Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable/Cash Applications Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Peachtree City, Georgia. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate account reconciliations, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your expertise in billing, cash applications, and collections.

Responsibilities:

• Process and post accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Reconcile account discrepancies and maintain up-to-date records of all financial activities.

• Handle billing operations, including generating and reviewing invoices for accuracy.

• Manage cash applications by applying payments to appropriate accounts.

• Conduct effective cash collections and communicate with clients to resolve outstanding balances.

• Perform commercial collections, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining professionalism.

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP for day-to-day operations.

• Prepare financial reports related to accounts receivable activities.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or payment discrepancies.

• Maintain organized documentation for audits and compliance purposes.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and account reconciliation.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP.

• Strong knowledge of cash applications and collections processes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience in commercial collections is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
