    Description

    A reputable environmental company in San Marcos, CA, is seeking a forward-thinking HR Manager to oversee human resources functions while aligning HR strategies with the company’s mission. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee engagement, talent acquisition, and organizational development within a purpose-driven organization.

    Responsibilities:

    As an HR Manager, your responsibilities will include:

    + Leading recruitment efforts, onboarding, and employee development initiatives to attract and retain top talent.

    + Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, as well as company policies.

    + Overseeing employee relations, offering advice, and facilitating resolutions as needed.

    + Administering compensation, benefits, and performance management programs, making recommendations for improvements as appropriate.

    + Supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace.

    + Collaborating with management to design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

    + Maintaining and analyzing HR data to provide insights and support decision-making.

    Requirements

    + 5+ years of broad HR experience, ideally within environmental services or a similarly impactful industry.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (HR certifications like PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus).

    + Knowledge of applicable labor laws and HR best practices.

    + Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.

    + Experience with HRIS platforms and other digital tools is highly desirable.
