Description
Robert Half is seeking a talented Legal Consultant / Reviewer to assist with Quality Assurance and Redaction tasks in a fully remote, part-time role. You will play a critical role in reviewing structured and unstructured data (e.g., handwritten notes, call transcripts) to identify irregularities, flag terms, and ensure documents meet predefined standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
This role requires a keen eye for detail, experience in legal documentation review, and a background in quality control, ideally in a compliance-driven industry such as healthcare or law.
Start Date: June 9th, 2025
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week. Must be available to work between Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST (schedule to be determined in advance).
Pay: $30+/hour
Key Responsibilities:
+ Inspect various types of data (e.g., written documentation and recorded conversations) for errors or abnormalities.
+ Conduct quality control checks to ensure regulatory compliance.
+ Use provided guidelines and SOPs to flag terms and identify discrepancies.
+ Collaborate with team members to suggest process improvements.
+ Maintain consistent attention to detail and accuracy in your work, following deadlines and meeting project deliverables.
Qualifications:
+ Prior experience working in document review, legal consulting, or compliance-related quality control roles is preferred.
+ Background as a team lead or QC professional within the legal or healthcare space is a plus.
+ Strong organizational skills and deadline management capabilities.
+ High proficiency in working with various data formats (structured and unstructured).
+ Ability to work independently in a remote environment during the designated hours (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST).
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal or legal review capacity.
• Proficiency in case management software and legal documentation tools.
• Strong ability to draft, review, and edit legal briefs.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Deep understanding of standard operating procedures in a legal setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in detailed document review and redaction.
• Familiarity with data analytics and analysis as it pertains to legal documentation.
• Ability to work independently while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
