Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: Commensurate with experience

We are a rapidly growing non-profit health services provider based in the Southampton/Huntingdon Valley area, committed to delivering essential healthcare services to our community. As our organization expands, we are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to help us rebuild and reorganize our accounting system from the ground up.
Position Summary
This is a temporary contract opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks skills. You will be responsible for overhauling our current QuickBooks setup, creating a clean, functional, and accurate system that can support our small internal accounting team. The position has the potential to evolve into a permanent role for the right candidate as our organization continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
+ Rebuild and reconfigure the organization’s QuickBooks software from scratch
+ Sort, organize, and categorize historical transactions
+ Import and reconcile banking transactions
+ Create and structure a comprehensive chart of accounts and new category framework
+ Ensure financial data is clean, accurate, and presentable for ongoing internal use
+ Collaborate closely with internal team members and external contacts as needed
+ Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed
+ Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all financial data
Requirements
Qualifications
+ Proven experience working with QuickBooks (Desktop or Online), especially in a clean-up or system rebuild capacity
+ Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting
+ Prior experience with non-profits and/or healthcare organizations a plus
+ Ability to work independently, with precision and attention to detail
+ Effective communicator with good organizational skills
+ Comfortable in a dynamic, fast-growing work environment
Schedule & Duration
+ Flexible hours within Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
+ Open to full-time or part-time candidates
+ Expected to last several weeks to several months
+ Possibility for long-term or permanent placement based on performance and organizational needs
