Description We are looking for a dedicated Membership Accounting Specialist to join our team in Beverly Hills, California. This is a long-term contract position offering an exciting opportunity to work with a leading credit union. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, excellent customer service abilities, and a detail-oriented approach to handling transactions and member inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing member inquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and efficiency.

• Process teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account transfers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Manage credit card account transactions, including payments and account updates.

• Assist members with setting up new accounts, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance on account-related matters.

• Accurately enter and update member information using the credit union’s proprietary software system.

• Ensure all transactions and records adhere to relevant regulations and internal policies.

• Maintain confidentiality of member information and uphold the highest standards of integrity.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and provide support where needed. Requirements • Prior experience in banking, credit unions, or financial services is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in performing teller functions, such as processing deposits, withdrawals, and payments.

• Strong customer service and communication skills to effectively assist members.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to perform transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Familiarity with accounting software systems, ERP systems, and credit card transaction processing is a plus.

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software systems, with training provided for the credit union’s proprietary platform.

• Knowledge of compliance requirements and financial regulations related to banking operations.
