Join our Twin Oaks Valley Water Treatment Plant (TOVWTP) in San Marcos, CA as the Project Manager. The 100-mgd treatment plant uses submerged membrane ultrafiltration, ozone disinfection, advanced oxidation, biological activated carbon, and chloramination to meet strict water quality standards for the San Diego metropolitan area. All process waste streams are treated in a residual management facility that includes equalization basins, Dissolved Air Floatation (DAF), sludge and centrate holding tanks, and dewatering centrifuges.
Jacobs is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager based in San Marcos, CA. You will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the project including profit and loss, permit compliance, safety, quality, and employee supervision and management including staffing, compensation, training and development. Working with other members of our team you will build and maintain positive business and customer relationships, and be responsible for the planning, organization, operations, maintenance and improvement of the facility. You will also be responsible for implementing safety policy and procedures and maintaining the operation process control including compliance with regulatory agencies.

• 10 years of experience in water operations
• California T5 Water Certification
• Proficient performing mathematical and algebraic calculations associated with wastewater and advance water treatment
• Experience with CMMS - Maintenance Connection and asset network management
• Managing budgets and inventory controls
• Knowledge of Industrial Controls Systems and technologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Valid California driver’s license with no major infractions
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
• 15 minimum years of experience in water or laboratory operations

The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
